Kayl Parker
I am an archivist and an occasional artist. I’m primarily interested in digitization and metadata, though I also work in content management and knowledge organization. I believe in the democratization of information, no matter the size of institution.
I currently live and work in Seattle with my partner and two cats. I’m finishing up my Masters in Library & Information Science at the University of Washington, and hold a Bachelors in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
If you’re working in archives at a cultural institution that lacks the resources and funds for proper management of digital artifacts, send me an email at kayldparker@gmail.com.
